In Grantalia there is a fear of magic. A bad history of it running wildly nearly tearing the state apart. So magic of any sort has been banned. Anyone who has t So Woven Crystals, a territory within the state was formed to help witches with their magic provides a haven for them. Protecting them, teaching them about their magic and stop those from Grantalia coming after them. Each witch is assigned a knight, a protector to make sure they go about safely. But one day, a group of knight's witches gets kidnapped. So the council that runs Woven Crystals orders the knights to the witches back before Grantalia punishes them for their magic
